The Americas – Jamaica: Draft Jamaican Standard Specification for Processed foods – ketchup

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) published Standard Specification for Processed Foods, ketchup. This document stipulates general and detailed requirements not only for traditional ketchup made from tomato, but also for ketchup made from other fruits and vegetables. This standard is intended to apply to products labelled as “ketchup” made from tomato or from other fruits and/or vegetables, and offered for direct consumption. This standard is intended to be compulsory, consumer information, labelling.
