Around the World – EU: Brussels will present sustainable labeling for meat and other foods by the end of 2023

The European Commission plans to present by the end of 2023 a “sustainable labeling” system that will cover the nutritional, climate, environmental and social aspects of food products. The objective of this initiative, which is part of the ‘From Farm to Fork’ strategy, is to “empower” consumers so that they can make informed and sustainable decisions about the food they buy.
