Brazil – Anvisa organizes a sectoral dialog on food regulation planning

The National Health Surveillance Agency of Brazil (ANVISA in Portuguese), thru its General Directorate of Food (GGALI in Portuguese), will hold a virtual sector dialog on March 25, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, to present and discuss the regulatory planning of the topics in the Regulatory Agenda 2026-2027 related to the food sector.

The meeting is aimed at representatives from the productive sector, government agencies, the academic community, sector professionals, and other individuals interested in food regulation, and it is open to the public without prior registration.

The main objectives of the initiative are:

  • Present an overview of the regulatory results achieved in the 2024-2025 Regulatory Agenda cycle;
  • Contextualize the process of developing the Regulatory Agenda 2026-2027;
  • Present the initial planning of the topics under GGALI’s responsibility for the next regulatory cycle; and
  • Clarify the participants’ doubts about the regulatory process and the planned topics.
