The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) has published Normative Instruction No. 396/2025, which establishes the positive lists of substances authorized for the manufacture of regenerated cellulose films intended for contact with food and their conditions of use.

For the substances listed in the Annexs of this Regulatory Instruction, in case of disagreement between the CAS number and the chemical name, the chemical name of the substance shall prevail.

This Regulatory Instruction comes into effect 6 (six) months after its publication date.
