Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agropecuaria e Inocuidad Alimentaria (SANASAG in Spanish) published Resolution RA_130-_2023, Reglamento Técnico sobre Requisitos y procedimientos para la emisión del permiso especial de inocuidad alimentaria de importación (harina de trigo fortificada con hierro y vitaminas).

The purpose of these regulations is to establish the requirements and special procedures applicable for the issuance of Food Safety Import Permits for products categorized as medium risk B (wheat flour fortified with iron and vitamins fortified with iron and vitamins) and/or low risk C, in order to guarantee the safety of the products and protect the health of the population, through the inspection and control of the products entering the country.
